Funeral Services for Tanesha Renay Wilkins were held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Greentee Community Center in Forest, MS. Eulogy was by Robert Johnson.
Ms. Tanesha Renay Wilkins, affectionately known as “Sissy” was born February 25, 1994, in Lauderdale, Mississippi to Teresa Wilkins and Henry Townsend, Jr.
She attended Newton High School, where she proudly graduated in 2013. Tanesha was later employed with Tyson Foods, where she worked diligently.
At an early age, Tanesha professed her hope in Christ and was baptized. She was a devoted member of the Church of God in Christ, where her faith remained an important part of her life.
Tanesha departed this life on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the age of 32. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Townsend, Jr., as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her four beautiful daughters, London, Tamealya, Syrinna and Iyari; her mother, Teresa; five sisters, Samantha Robinson, Gezell Saade, Vivian Townsend Ali, Sarah Carol (Larry) Elliott, and Mylinda (Tacobca) Townsend; a brother, Adrian Wilkins; and a vast array of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and dear friends.
