Services for Mr. Willis “Buddy” Eugene Jones were held Thursday, March 28, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Blue Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Lynn Chesney officiating and Bro. James McMillian assisting. Interment followed at Clearman (Jones) Family Cemetery. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North is honored to be trusted with arrangements.
Mr. Jones, 81, of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Buddy was a hardworking man, working for Stephens Funeral Home for 35 plus years. After his retirement, he went on to work in the chicken houses for Charles Alexander, whom he considered like a brother. He was a kind and generous man, helping anyone who needed it, and expecting nothing in return. He will be remembered most for being a devoted husband to his late wife, Jeanette, and a loving father and grandfather to his children and many grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Patricia Williams (Virgil), Belinda Crapse (Randy), Richard Jones (Thresa), and Marty Jones; grandchildren, Renne Graves (Eric), Scotty Massey, Anna Diveley (Bo), Dillon Williams (Savannah), Brandy Walker, Tiffany Walker, Amanda Hattaway (James), Candis Edmonds (Buddy), Thomas Jones (Lindsey), Holly McLemore (Caleb), Jordan Jones (Summer), Lela Sha Jones, Angel Jones, Thomas Jones, and J.T. Jones; 29 great grandchildren, with one on the way; brothers, Wade Jones and O’Neil Jones (Sandra); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Annie “Jeanette” Jones; parents, Amos Eugene and ExaMae Mizell Jones; brother, Albert Jones; and sisters, Ethel Gressett, Sally Spears, Sydney Sharp, and Betty Gracie Victoria Jones.
Pallbearers included Thomas Jones, Jordan Jones, Buddy Edmonds, Caleb McLemore, James Hattaway, and Dillon Williams.
Visitation was held an hour prior to service at the church.
