Sandra and Tabitha Walker, Nick, Ashley and Bryce Lane and Flora Overstreet traveled to Milton, GA, over the weekend spending several days with Flora’s son, Wayne, daughter-in-law, Katie, and granddaughters, Mary Claire and Laurel Overstreet. Everyone enjoyed the visit and had a great time.
Recipe for the Week: Slow Cooker Tamale Pie
Ingredients: 2lb ground beef, 2 teaspoon ground cumin, salt and pepper, teaspoon chili powder, 2 cans black beans, 2 cans diced tomatoes w/green chilies, 2 cans whole kernel corn, 2 can enchilada sauce, 2 green onions chopped, ¼ x2 minced fresh cilantro, 2 package -cornbread mix plus eggs add the last hour, 1 cup Mexican cheese / sour cream / toppings. Put into slow cooker. It is so delicious!!
