My name is Randy Patrick, first I want to give thanks to my LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST for granting the opportunity to be a candidate for our office of Sheriff in our Newton County.
I’m married to my beautiful wife Mira McKee for 25 amazing years. I bring to this hard working community 28 years of law-enforcement experience, where I’m a State of Mississippi certified instructor, where I have trained many sheriff’s deputies, police officers, jailers and all law enforcement divisions in an academy setting.
I decided to seek the office of sheriff, because I believe that the citizens of Newton County deserve the very best protection and services from their sheriff’s office. I pledge to return our “Office of Sheriff” back to its people and help bring a positive change to and for our communities. By: making sure all our citizens are treated with the upmost dignity and respect, by making sure that our department is well trained and well diversed, to combat our drug problems with a multi-county task force, our patrol with marked vehicles and uniformed officers with 24-hour coverage, also along with our county school resource officers.
We will reimplement the D.A.R.E. program for our youth, to educate them on staying away from drugs, also implement a Citizens Academy were the citizens can interact with our men and women of law-enforcement. These are just a few plans for the betterment of our county. Positive change begins with Randy Patrick.
