Friday, June 23, was a sad day in Newton County. We said farewell to one of our most beloved citizens as Larry French was laid to rest in the church cemetery at Prospect. Larry was a devout Christian and a powerful voice for Jesus Christ in this crazy world. He was a strong conservative who did not care what people thought of his views.
