The Lake Hornets lost a pair of tight games last week on the baseball diamond.
Lake dropped a 7-6 decision to Nanih Waiya on Monday and then fell 7-5 to Newton County on Saturday.
Lake (2-5) will play at Raleigh on Monday and host Taylorsville on Tuesday.
