BASEBALL: NCA defeats Hillcrest Christian, Clinton Christian

The Newton County Academy baseball team picked up its first wins of the season this past week.

The Generals opened with an 18-1 win over Hillcrest Christian on Tuesday and then took a tight 4-3 win over Clinton Christian on Saturday. The Generals then lost 11-5 to East Rankin on Saturday as well.

BASEBALL: Union gets in the win column

The Union Yellowjackets picked up their first two wins of the season on the baseball diamond.

Union took a 10-4 win over Raleigh on Monday and then beat the Lions 19-6 on Friday.
