The Newton Theatre Company has announced the cast for its upcoming production of "Beyond a Joke," a comedy written by Derek Benfield. Set in a country house notorious for its unfortunate and embarrassing accidents, the play unfolds as various characters navigate a series of comedic misunderstandings and mishaps.
In this production, Heidi Armstrong will take on the role of Jane, while James Rowzee will portray Andrew, the couple residing in the accident-prone house. Colt Cleveland will play Geoff, the unsuspecting visitor, with Courtney McDonald as Sally, Jane and Andrew's daughter. Cindy Thompson is cast as Sarah, Marshall Van Zijll as the Vicar, Teresa Nance as Audrey, and Marty Morgan as Edgar.
