When the Newton Municipal School District 2025 school year begins on July 31, it will be doing so with new leadership after the retirement of Dr. Glenda Nickson on June 30. And while Cola Shelby is new to the position of superintendent, she is certainly no stranger to the students, staff, and community of the district.
