As the old saying goes, if it wasn’t for bad luck, the Lake football team wouldn’t have any luck at all.
Lake got stopped at the goal line on the last play of the game on Friday night as Loyd Star held on to take a 21-20 win over the Hornets in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs.
