The University of Southern Mississippi has released its President’s and Dean’s Lists for the 2018 spring semester.
The President’s List includes full-time students who earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average (all As).
Students recognized on the President’s List from the local area include Sydney Hannah Kennedy of Decatur; and Agatha Louise Berryhill and Alejandra Vazquez Salgado, both of Union.
Dean’s List scholars are those with at least a 3.5 grade point average, but less than a 4.0.
Those making the Dean’s List from Newton County included Erick Keith Bishop, Ma’leigha DeeAshia Patrick, Stephen Coleman Stewart and Christopher Oneal Thames, all of Decatur; Shanavia Shaqwan Evans and Kenadaria Latrell Watts, both of Newton; and Mary Brittany Hatcher and Brooke Elizabeth Payne, both of Union.
