Friday’s jamboree matchup between Newton County and Lake was a typical pre-season contest.
Both coaches saw plenty of positives and both coaches saw plenty of things their teams need to work on before the regular season begins.
Newton County “won” the two-quarter contest 12-6 over Lake, using a pair long pass plays in the win.
