SOFTBALL: Lady Hornets’ bats heat up in dominant week

The Lake Lady Hornets flexed their muscles this week, winning four games by a combined score of 51-9.

Lake opened the week with a 10-3 win over Raleigh and then beat Scott Central 17-4 on Tuesday and 19-1 on Thursday. Lake then finished the week with 5-1 on Saturday.

The St. Patrick’s Day Car Show at Hickory Pick’N was held on Saturday. A large number of cars filled the parking lot of the flea market, and music played all day as people visited the area.
