Hickory: Marker unveiled to honor lynching victim

The Newton County Coalition and Equal Justice Initiative gathered at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Hickory on Saturday, Feb. 24, to dedicate a new historical marker that is dedicated to William Bradford, a lynching victim who died in the Hickory area more than 110 years ago.
