Lily Faye Chesney Henley, of Little Rock, was born May 20, 1949, to Earl and Ella Chesney. Her father was a farmer who was also a logger. Her mother worked at the shirt factory and cared for the home and children. The oldest child was Purvis Chesney, who died in a tragic accident at the age of 28, in 1966.
