We wish a very good morn-ing/evening to all our readers and friends out there.
We wish a happy birthday to all those blessed with birthdays this week.
We have another very special person to write about today. Jasmin Nicole Wright graduated from Opelika Academy in 2008. She received a B.S. degree from Alabama State University in Criminal Justice with honors. She joined the Army in 2013 as a chaplain assistant.
After serving in the Army, she went to beautician school to pursue styling hair. Jasmine is the daughter of Mr. Darrell Wright, who was the first black food inspector for Newton and Leake Counties. Jasmin makes her home in Alabama, while Mr. Wright lives in Meridian.
