Welcome to The Little Town with a Big Heart”
Revival services at Grace United last week were awesome. Many souls were saved from young to old and recommitting lives to the Lord. A great week from Sunday to Wednesday, with Bro. Steve Winstead as the guest preacher and the pastor, Bro. Jamie Leach. The revival also featured Michelle Addy, music director, Joe and Patti Alexander, Kristy Leach, Ronnie Blass, Matt Addy, Marcus Mowdy who make up the group Amazing Grace.
Services this week at Grace were awesome with three new members and rededication. God has been working at Grace United. Bro. Jamie welcomes anyone who doesn’t have a church home to come and visit with us, or if have a church home you’re still welcome to visit.

The Liberty Community Club met on Sept. 9 at the clubhouse. After the Pledge of Allegiance, we had a moment of silence for the victims of 9/11/2001. Brother Mark Kilgore led in prayer. After our delicious pot luck supper, Ruby Boutwell gave the devotion on how God listens to us. Unlike the milk in our refrigerator, God’s plan for us does not have an expiration date.
We had our first “Show & Tell” program and it will not be our last. This was thoroughly enjoyed by all as we brought some of our memories to the meeting. We had shoe repair items, a corn sheller, a plow hill sweeper, butter molds, a temperance pledge in the Bible, bath towels, a 1927 car tag, a water cup, Grandma’s bell, a Sweetwater school picture, bass fishing trophies, and even gold from Alaska. The group laughed and cried, asked each other questions, and got to know each other just a little bit better. Our next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9 at Liberty Community clubhouse. Tonia Coker from Sta-Home Health will be our speaker. Everyone is welcomed.
