I am writing from my home in Union today. On the return trip from West Monroe on Tuesday evening, I stopped in Brandon and picked up my son Travis to spend some time with me.
We went to visit his children, Kolby and Jade Welch on Saturday evening. While I chatted over coffee with their great-grandmother, Janis Gore, Travis and his children caught up outside.
On Sunday morning we attended church at Redeemer Baptist. Brother Nels Norris preached the morning service, with a very powerful message from the 3rd chapter of Acts. After lunch, I took Travis home to Brandon. It was good to have him with me for a few days.
