Welcome to Pleasant Grove MB Church of Newton, where the Rev. Michael Pickens is the pastor. On Sunday, Pastor Pickens’ message was “The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant: The Spirit of Forgiveness,” taken from Matthew 18:21-27. Pleasant Grove will be having vacation Bible school June 11-15, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The theme will be “God Squad: Special Agents In Action.” Classes will be for ages 3 to Adults. Refreshments will be served daily. Pleasant Grove is located at 202 N. Pilate Avenue in Newton.
