Trunk and Treat at GUBC was enjoyed by everyone even with the rain and wet weather on Wednesday night. Everyone enjoyed the soups, meal and desserts. If you don’t have a church home your invited to come worship with us at GUBC. The church is located at 2087 Lebanon Church Road, Decatur.
Thanks to Southern Pine and other companies for their hard work in restoring power to their customers after the storm last Saturday morning. It was sad of hearing the death of MDOT worker Jason Boyd during the cleanup of trees. Deepest sympathy is extended his family.

Recipe for the Week: Oven Baked Caramel Apple Dump Cake
Ingredients: 1 yellow cake mix, two 21-ounce cans apple pie filling, 1/2 cup caramel sauce or topping, 2 sticks butter, melted or sliced.
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 9- by 13-inch baking dish spoon cans of apple pie filling in bottom. Pour caramel evenly on top of pie filling. Sprinkle cake mix on top. Place thinly sliced pats of butter evenly on top of cake mix. You can also melt the butter and drizzle it on top, if desired, Bake in 350-degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve with a scoop of vanilla or your favorite ice cream
