This week’s Sunday school lesson was really awesome!
It started off describing situations where we try to fix problems ourselves, but we actually make them worse. For example, when your car breaks down, you might try to save money by fixing it yourself. But, you go and make a mistake, then the $100 problem becomes a $400 problem.
It would’ve been so much easier and cheaper to take the car to a mechanic, but, like we all do, you think you can just fix it yourself.
It’s the same way with life; when a problem hits, we take it into our own hands to fix instead of giving the problem to the one who created everything! Think of the problem Adam created when he brought sin into place. We can try to fix it ourselves by going to church or doing good deeds everyday, but truth is, nothing we can ever do will be good enough to erase our sin problem. That’s why God had to send Jesus, to wipe our slate. Thank goodness for the Master of Problem Solving!
I hope all the Fathers in the area had a great weekend celebrating all the broken hearts and broken cars you have fixed for us children. Without you, we would still be crying and broke down!
Please be in prayer for the family of Ms.Pam Loper for she passed away this weekend.
I hope everyone has a blessed week.
