Welcome to “The Little Town with a Big Heart”
Thank God For the little things, that often come our way, the things we take for granted but don’t mention when we pray, the unexpected courtesy, the thoughtful, kindly deed. A hand reached out to help us in the time of need. Make us more aware dear God, of little daily graces that come to us with sweet surprise from never dreamed of places.
A prayer for the workers of Convid-19: Heavenly Father, we magnify and glorify your precious name. You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things. We thank you for the blessing of healthcare workers and providers, first responders, firemen and firewomen who put themselves on the line for us every day. At this moment when we are encountering a tribulation, it comes to mind that in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 “At times I might shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, or command grasshoppers to devour your crops, or send plagues among you. Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” Father, thank you for everything that is happening, so that we may know how powerful you are. We come together to praise and rejoice in you.
