Alma Lorene Miles, 103, of Lawrence died Monday, April 20, 2020 at her home. She was born Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1916 in Newton County.
Private family graveside services were held 11 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2020 at Lawrence Cemetery. Newton County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Miles Sr.; her children, Lester Miles, Curtis Miles, Mable Warren, Owen Miles and Allen Miles; her parents, Grover and Edna Allgood; and eight siblings.
Survivors include her children, Nell Lancaster and Floyd Miles Jr.; nine grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
