A Celebration of Life service for Ms. Anna Faye Wolverton was held Saturday, April 6 at 11 a.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Sebastopol. Burial was at High Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jason Price will officiate.
Visitation was Saturday 10 – 11 a.m. prior to service at Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol.
Wolverton is survived by her son, Steve Wolverton and wife, Vickie, of Maryland; daughter, Anna Wolverton of Maryland; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Russell of Walnut Grove. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Wolverton is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, James W. Wolverton; one son, Ripley “Rip” Wolverton; parents, Bud and Effie Lee Pinter; and eleven siblings.
Mrs. Faye Wolverton was a joyful, devoted follower and faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. She supported mission work near and far. She deeply loved her family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, gardening, cooking and singing hymns. Her contagious smile and sweet spirit were a blessing to all and will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers were Charles Russell, Mike Boler, Mickey Boler, Phillip Pinter, Cody Smith and Phil Woods.
Honorary pallbearers were Warren Hardin, Chase Simmons and Mark Pinter.
