Annie Lois Carey, 101, of Decatur, Mississippi, passed away Monday, April 12, 2020, at her home. She was born Thursday, Aug. 8, 1918 in Newton County.
Private Family Graveside Services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Larry Brown officiated. Newton County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. (601) 683-2152
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Carey Jr.; her parents, Ransom and Minnie Munn; and two brothers, Willie Munn and Clinton Munn.
Survivors include her children, Wayne Carey, George Lynn Carey (Patsy), Janice Brown (Larry), Sue Walker (Kenneth), Kent Carey (Janice) and David Carey; one sister, Thelma Boutwell; and 68 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Bobby Carey, George Carey, Jonathan Brown, Joel Brown, Kendall Carey and Bubba Walker.
