Services for Ms. Juanita Russell were held 11 am, Friday, August 31, 2018 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Rev. Lin Chesney, Dr. Malcolm Lewis and Rev. David Watson officiated.
Visitation was held 9-11 am, Friday at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
Ms. Russell, 86, of Collinsville died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Neshoba County Nursing Center. Survivors include her son, James “Sonny” Russell and wife, Mary, of Collinsville; daughter, Debra Dean and husband, Tommy, of Collinsville; four grandchildren, Greg Russell and wife, Karla ,of Decatur, Brandel Russell and wife, Amanda, of Little Rock, Scott Dean and wife, Brooke, of Olive Branch, and Alicia LaJuan Hurwood and husband, Scott, of Coral Springs, Fla.; six great grandchildren, Annalyese Russell, Hunter Russell, Cole Russell, Evie Hurwood, Aila Hurwood and Dylan Dean; two brothers, Billy Wayne Alexander and wife, Shawna, and Lonnie Alexander; and one sister, Walterine Goss.
Ms. Russell was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Russell; parents, Armos and Ila Mae Alexander; three siblings, Curtis “Buddy” Alexander, Rita Bea Melton and Bess Burnside.
Pallbearers for Ms. Russell included Scotty Dean, Greg Russell, Brandel Russell, Scott Hurwood, Buddy Sturm, Hunter Russell and Cole Russell.
Milling Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
