Mary Jo Sheely Robinson, 101, of Keller, Texas, and formerly of Conehatta, Miss., moved to her heavenly home on July 11, 2019.
Services were held on July 17, at Conehatta Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Conehatta Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home.
Mary Jo was born on May 31, 1918, to the late Joe Sheely and Mary Eliza James Sheely in Conehatta. She was married for 52 years to the late I. B. Robinson Jr.
She was a Baptist by faith and a longtime member of the Conehatta Baptist Church until she relocated to Texas to be near her family and joined in the fellowship of First Baptist Church in Keller, TX. She was also a member of the Conehatta Quilting Club for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her brother, James (Juanita) Sheely.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by four daughters, Inez Rudd of Bedford, TX, Liz Venable and husband, Roger, of North Richland Hills, TX, Betty Blackburn and husband, John, of Taylor, AR, and Linda Bailey and husband, Joe, of Watauga, TX; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Brent Blackburn, James Gilbert, III, Josh Johnson, Jeremy Rudd, Tommy Sheely and Greg Venable.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Conehatta Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 65, Conehatta, MS 39057.
