First grade winners at NCA were Emmett Ammon, Science and Headmasters List; Harry Applewhite, Writing, Citizenship, AR Most Points and Highest Comprehension, and Headmasters List; Devyn Graham, Honor Roll; Aiden Massey, Honor Roll; Jackson Darsey, Math, Spelling, Reading, Phonics, Social Studies, and Headmasters List.
Jordan Mason received the Woodman of the World Award for American History, presented by Felicia Blackburn, Woodman of the World Representative.
NCA’s Star Student for 2018-19 was Patrick Williams while the Star Teacher was Steve Hansford.
Anna Laurel Moody was named valedictorian of the Class of 2019 while Marla Graham was salutatorian, and Tripp Blasingame was historian.
The following students received the Legacy Award: Madison Jay, Dalton Sibley, and Karli Blackledge.
Anna Laurel Moody was presented the Presidential Scholarship by Ole Miss representative William Wildman and an Ole Miss Chapter Scholarship by Newton County Ole Miss Association representative Johnny Upton.
