Pleasant Hill MB Church to host spring revival
Pleasant Hill MB Church will continue its spring revival through Friday, March 30 at 7 p.m. nightly. The guest speaker for the week will be the Rev. William C. Brown, pastor of Fifth Street Baptist Church, Meridian. The public is invited.
Pleasant Grove to host Good Friday/Easter services
Pleasant Grove MB Church, 202 North Pilate Ave., Newton, invites the public to its annual Good Friday and Easter sunrise services. The Good Friday service and youth department program/play will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, March 30, and Pastor Michael Pickens will be the speaker. Refreshments will be served. The Easter sunrise service will begin at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 1, and Minister Addie Watts will be the speaker. Breakfast will be served. The events will be sponsored by the church’s Easter committee.
Brown to be ordained at Altare Baptist
Minister Antwan Brown of Altare MB Church will be ordained at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31 at the third New Hope building in downtown Newton.
St. Mark to host sunrise service
The St. Mark MB Church, 7445 Mudline Road, Lake, will be having a sunrise service at 6 a.m. Sunday, April 1. The public is invited, and breakfast will be served.
Enon Baptist Church to host spring revival
Enon Baptist Church in the Golden Grove community will hold a spring revival April 1-5. Easter Sunday services on April 1 will be at 7-11 a.m. with no evening service. Little Rock to host spring revival
The Little Rock MB Church will be having its spring revival from Sunday, April 1 through Tuesday, April 3. The Little Rock MB Church will have Easter Sunrise Morning Service at 6 a.m. in place of it's regular 10:30 a.m. service. St. Mary to host spring revival
St. Mary MB Church of Decatur, will be having its spring revival April 9-11 at 7:15 p.m. nightly. The public is invited. The pastor is the Rev. Jermain Garvin.
St. Mark MB Church to host prayer breakfast
The St. Mark MB Church, 7445 Mudline Road, Lake, will be having its second quarterly prayer breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 28. The topic for the event will be “Living my purpose”—Jeremiah 29:11-13; and the subtopic will be “God’s leading ladies.”
The speaker will be first lady Natarsha Lindsey. This event will include prayer, praise, fun, food and fellowship. Also, there will be community agencies and vendors to provide community information/resources to the public. Everyone is invited.
