Addison Posey, of Little Rock, was chosen to play for the Region 4 Stripes softball team in the USA Softball 12u All-American Games, hosted at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 8-11. Posey is one of seven players selected from Mississippi.
Posey is in seventh grade at Newton County Middle School, where she plays softball and volleyball. Her parents are Tyler and Chelsy Posey.
The USA Softball All-American Games is a prestigious tournament that provides National exposure to elite athletes in the 12u age division and has been designed to identify and highlight the best athletes from across the country.
The tournament will feature 24 teams, each consisting of 30 players and four coaches, who are selected to represent their region.
