The Newton County Academy Lady Generals only got in one game last week but made it count.
The Lady Generals shut out Prentiss Christian 10-0 on Tuesday in their only action of the week.
NCA is scheduled to host Discovery Christian on Monday and Simpson County Academy on Tuesday as they wrap up the regular season.

The Lady Generals posted their second straight shutout with a five-inning, run-rule win over Prentiss on Tuesday.
NCA scored one in the first, three in the third, two in the fourth and four in the fifth.
NCA had six hits in the contest and took advantage of five Prentiss errors. Sydnee Cosgrove doubled and drove in a run while Sophia Munn, Adriane Luke, Kelsey Tibbets and Jamie Stamper each singled and scored twice.
Cosgrove pitched all five innings in the circle, scattering six hits and a walk while striking out five.
