The Lake Hornets won their fifth straight game last week with a pair of wins in the Sebastopol Tournament.
Lake took a 10-4 win over Puckett on Monday and then beat homestanding Sebastopol 18-3 on Tuesday.
Lake improved to 7-3 on the season and will return to play this week with a two-game series against Enterprise, Game 1 will be at Enterprise on Tuesday while game 2 will be on Friday at Lake. Lake will end the week with a home game on Saturday against Union.

Hitting: The Hornets had seven hits and drew 10 walks in just five innings. J.D. Gibson was 3-for-3 and the only multiple hitter for Lake. Aidan Dilley singled and had two RBIs while Aiden Alford and Jayden Brown each singled and scored two runs. Trey Gray walked twice and had two RBI while Gavin Boles walked twice and scored two runs. Eddie Odom also had two walks and scored a run.
Pitching: Kasen Tune pitched 4 2/3 innings to pick up the win and gave up four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out eight to pick up the win.

Hitting: Lake had eight hits and drew 11 walks in the contest. Aiden Alford was 3-for-4 with two home runs and six RBIs to lead the Hornets. Gibson walked twice and scored two runs. Gavin Boles also walked three times and scored a run.
Pitching: Alford started on the mound and pitched 2 2/3 innings, giving up three runs on two hits and two walks while striking out six.
