The Lake softball team dropped two games last week, struggling at the plate with just seven hits in two games.
Lake lost 10-0 to Scott County rival Sebastopol on Tuesday and then lost 8-1 to traditional power Neshoba Central.
Lake falls to 10-7 on the season and will return to play this with a two-game division series with rival Scott Central. Lake will then plat at Ethel on Friday and at Nanih Waiya on Saturday.

Hitting: Sebastopol outhit Lake 8-2 and took advantage of five errors. Kinsley Woods and Lydaysha Thames had Lake’s only hits in the contest.
Pitching: Daelyn Earls started in the circle for Lake, pitching 3 2/3 innings while giving up seven runs on five hits and three walks. Ceely Graham got one out and gave up three runs on three hits and a walk.

Hitting: Neshoba outhit Lake 8-5 in the contest. Addison McKnight was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI while Sadie Thompson was 2-for-3. Alyssa Sockey also had a single for Union while Brantlee McGee scored Lake’s only run.
Pitching: Ceely Graham pitched all six innings for Lake, giving up eight runs with only four being earned. She gave up eight hits and three walks and took the loss.
