The Newton County baseball program continues to send players to the next level and added two more to that list last week.

Newton County’s Cooper Lewis signed to play at Southwest Community College and Dalton Graham signed to play at Pearl River Community College.

Hutchins named MVP

Union’s Keon Hutchins was named as the North team Most Valuable offensive player last week at the Bernard Blackwell All-star game. Hutchins had two catches for 71 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. Hutchins is shown with Union head coach Jordan Wren.
