The Lake Hornets had a good week on the baseball diamond, winning three of four games.
The Hornets opened with a 9-8 win over Raleigh on Monday and then swept a doubleheader from Newton, winning 25-1 and 18-1 on Tuesday. Lake then fell 13-3 to St. Andrew’s on Saturday to finish out the week.
Lake improves to 8-9 on the season.
