SOFTBALL: Jackets rally to get sweep

The Union Lady Yellowjackets took a dramatic win on Friday to advance in the Class 2A playoffs.

Union took two games from Bogue Chitto, winning game one 9-0. The Lady Yellowjackets then needed a walk-off win on Friday to win game two 6-5.

SOFTBALL: Lady Bobcats fall to Puckett, head to Class 1A playoffs

The Sebastopol Lady Bobcats only got in one game last week as they prepare to begin the Class 1A playoffs this week.

The Lady Bobcats lost a tough 5-4 decision to Puckett on Tuesday.

Sebastopol, now 17-6-1 on the season, advances to the Class 1A South State playoffs where they will take on Nanih Waiya in the first round.
