The Sebastopol girls picked up a big division win last week as they took a 10-point win at Philadelphia.

The Lady Bobcats used a stingy defense to take a 31-21 win over the Lady Tornadoes.

The Bobcats weren’t as fortunate as they lost 63-53 to the Tornadoes.

The Union Lady Yellowjackets picked up two wins this past week.

The Lady Yellowjackets blew out Eupora 51-15 and then took a tight 39-36 win over Enterprise.

The Union boys split a pair of games, falling 44-31 to Eupora before beating Enterprise 37-33.

Basketball: Lady Generals Close Season Strong; NCA Boys Split Final Games

The Newton County Academy basketball teams finished up the regular season with a win last week.

The Lady Generals beat rival Sylva Bay 43-30 but lost 66-56 to Kemper Academy. The Generals also split a pair of games as they beat Kemper 50-13 but lot 72-15 to Sylva Bay.
