Former Newton County Academy standout Kemp Alderman continued his hot hitting for the Rebels and now leads the team in most major offensive categories.
On Tuesday, Alderman was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs to lead the Rebels to a 7-2 win over Memphis.
In the first game of a doubleheader against Arkansas, Alderman provided all the offense for the Rebels with a two-run home run in an 11-2 loss. In the second game of a doubleheader, Alderman went 2-for-3 and scored two runs as the Rebels won 7-4. Alderman was 1-for-4 in the finals as the Razorbacks took two out of three games.
Ole Miss is now 18-13 on the season and 2-10 in SEC play.
Alderman is now leading the Rebels with a .358 batting average and has a team-high 12 home runs and 44 RBIs with a .717 slugging percentage.
