Newton Parks and Rec Spring Sports Registration Open
Registration is now open for Newton Parks & Recreation Baseball, Softball, and T-ball. Open to all children ages 4-12 (Must be 4 years old BEFORE May 1st for T-ball). Registration forms can be picked up and dropped off at Newton City Hall. Registration fee is $40 (Late fee is $5-on an as needed basis). Forms will not be accepted without fee.
Union Spring Recreation Program Registration Open
Registration is now open for the Union Spring Recreation Program. Registration forms can be picked up and returned to Union City Hall Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Registration fee is $55. Ages: Co-Ed T-Ball (4-5 years); Boys Coach Pitch Baseball (6-8 years); Girls Coach Pitch Softball (6-8 years); Boys Baseball (9-10 years); Girls Softball (9-10 years); Boys Baseball (11-12 years); Girls Softball (11-12 years). An After Hours Sign Up is scheduled for the Union Community Center on Feb. 5, from 6-7 p.m.
NCYO Spring Season Registration Extended to Jan. 29
The registration deadline for the 2026 Newton County Youth Organization Spring Season has been extended to Jan. 29. Registration will not be accepted after this date. A final in-person registration is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Newton County Elementary School gymnasium. Online registration and jersey ordering is available on the NCYO Facebook page. Jersey’s will be on-site for sizing and ordering. If you have registered and not ordered a jersey, please do so by the end of this week at Big G Grocery.
