Newton County will host its first ever Pigskin and Pearls all-female football clinic on Aug. 11.
Tickets for the event are $30 and include a t-shirt, tailgate food and door prizes.
The ladies-only clinic is designed to allow participants to “learn a little more about football and celebrate the role that women play in football.”
There will also be a silent auction at the event, which will be held in the Newton County High School Cafeteria.
Registration for the clinic begins at 5 p.m. and the clinic will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Childcare will be provided at the cost of $5 per child or $10 for families of two or more.
