The Lake Lady Hornets continued to hammer the softball and stayed unbeaten with a pair of run-rule wins last week.
Lake will host Clarkdale on Tuesday and travel to Forest on Thursday in their only action of the week.
Lake 11, Enterprise 1
Taylor Duncan was 2-for-2 with two home runs, two runs scored and three RBIs. Kaytie Hillman continued her hot hitting, going 3-for-4 with a home run, double, two runs scored and three RBIs. Alana Edmonds was 3-for-3 with a home run while Abbie McGee was 2-for-3. Josie Gibbs and Kate Gladney both doubled and had an RBI.
Katlyn Lott pitched all five innings and gave up one run on three hits.
Lake 16, Stringer 3
Lake had 17 hits in the contest, led by Taylor Duncan who was 4-or-4 with two doubles, three runs scored and three RBIs. Landry LeBlanc was 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs while Kaytie Hillman was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Abby Pinter was 2-for-3 with a double and three runs scored while Tra’Shaylah Wilson was 2-for-2 with two runs scored. Alana Edmonds was 2-for-4 while Laurel Breland had a triple, scored twice and had two RBIs. Abbie McGee doubled and scored twice.
Katlyn Lott pitch the first two innings and gave up one run while Josie Gibbs pitched the last four innings and gave up two runs.
