The Newton County Academy Lady Generals added two more wins to their total last week with a pair of double-digit wins.
The Lady Generals beat Hebron 44-29 and Kemper Academy 40-25.
The Generals lost 44-38 to Hebron and 44-32 to Kemper to end the regular season.
The NCA girls are the No .2 seed and will take on No. 3 seed Hebron on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Kemper Academy. If the Lady Generals win there, they would take on the winner of the Columbus Christian and Kemper Academy game on Thursday at 6 p.m.
The NCA boys are the No. 4 seed and will play Columbus in the opening round on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
All four teams will advance to the North State playoffs.
NCA girls 44, Hebron 29
The Lady Generals finished strong as they took a 15-point win over the Lady Eagles on Tuesday.
NCA led 12-8 at the end of the first and 19-12 at the half. Hebron outscored NCA 11-9 in the third before the Lady Generals outscored the Lady Eagles 16-6 in the fourth to take the win.
Cayden Alexander led NCA with 14 points while Sarah Beth Bounds had 18 rebounds.
Hebron boys 44, NCA 38
The Eagles pulled away in the fourth and took a six-point win over the Generals on Tuesday.
Hebron led 9-8 at the end of the first but the game was tied 21-21 at the half. NCA outscored Hebron 11-8 in the third to lead 32-29 going to the fourth. But Hebron outscored NCA 15-6 in the fourth to take the win.
Kemp Alderman led NCA with 14 points while Austin Upton had 10 points and Riley Boswell added nine points.
NCA girls 40, Kemper Academy 25
The Lady Generals controlled three out of the four periods and took a 15-point win over the Lady Rams on Friday.
NCA led 11-3 at the end of the first and 16-12 at the half. The Lady Generals then outscored the Lady Rams 12-6 in the third and 12-7 in the fourth to take the win.
Asten Russell led NCA with 20 points while Jordan Russell had 11 rebounds.
Kemper boys 44, NCA 32
The Generals fell behind early when center Kemp Alderman went out after diving into a wall and the Rams took a 12-point win on Friday to end the regular season for both teams.
Kemper jumped out to a 16-3 lead at the end of the first and led 27-12 at the half. NCA fought back in the second half as they outscored Kemper 10-5 in the third to cut the lead to 32-22 going to the fourth. Kemper took the fourth 12-10 to take the win.
Austin Upton led NCA with 12 points and nine rebounds.
