Newton County has set dates to hold tryouts for the upcoming school year.
The tryouts are for upcoming seventh graders or anyone that is not currently on the team. The tryouts will begin on MOnday, June 15 with cross county from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. High school baseball and softball tryouts will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the 15th as well.
On Tuesday, June 16, high school football tryouts will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. while high school baseball and softball will have another session from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, June 17, high school football will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. High school girls basketball will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On Thursday, June 18, high school football will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. while middle school girls basketball will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. High school girls basketball will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
High school boys basketball will hold tryouts on June 22, 23 and 25 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
