The Union basketball teams continued to roll as they swept a pair of Division 4-2A games from Scott Central last week.
The Lady Yellowjackets opened up the night with a 44-40 win over the Lady Rebels while the Yellowjackets won their ninth game in a row with a 64-53 win over Scott Central.
Union has a big week ahead of them ahead of them this week as they travel to Lake on Tuesday and then travel to Newton on Friday.
The Jackets improved to 16-2 on the season and will try to avenge their last loss, which was a 47-45 loss to Lake in the Sebastopol Tournament on Dec. 1.
The Lady Yellowjackets improved to 13-7 on the season.
Union boys 64, Scott Central 53
The Yellowjackets jumped out to a big lead in the first period and held off a late charge by the Rebels.
Union jumped out to a 16-7 lead in the first period and led 26-16 at the half. Union continued to extend its lead in the second half as they outscored Scott Central 12-9 in the third to lead 38-25. In a high-scoring fourth period, Scott Central outscored Union 28-26 as the Jackets held on for the win.
P.J. Gage led Union with 19 points while Mark Jones had 15 points. J.T. Vance had 13 points while Sage Gunn added nine points.
Union girls 44, Scott Central 40
The Lady Yellowjackets opened up a four-point lead in the first period and held that advantage for the rest of the contest to take the win.
Union outscored Scott Central 9-5 in the first period and led 17-13 at the half. Each team scored 13 points in the third and 14 points in the fourth to hold on and take the win.
Eryanna Mason led Union with 14 points while Ansley Rigby had 12 points.
