Born in 1924, Mrs. Lois Woodward Pennington turned 99 March 11, 2023. She grew up in Louisville, Mississippi, where her parents were George and Brunette Hall Woodward of Louisville. Her father, a farmer, owned a cotton gin and was a sheriff in the late 40s, while her mother was a stay-at-home mom.
