Newton County Elementary Kindergarteners Emma Shimfessel, Nayimmi Vaughn, Drake Atkinson, and Kahlani Buckley prepare to participate in D.E.A.R. Day on April 12th with NCES Librarian Kelli Poole. Students all over the nation are encouraged to “Drop Everything And Read” on this day every year.
