The Knights of the Templar recently laid a wreath honoring the soldiers buried at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton. The ceremony was held on Veterans Day, although typically they try to perform the ceremony around Memorial Day. The Knights are affiliated with the Free Masons.
