Education: Sibley tapped for NC school superintendent

The Newton County School District’s Board of Trustees turned to one of its own to be its new superintendent.

Brooke Sibley, the current Assistant Superintendent of Newton County Schools, was unanimously appointed by the trustees during a regular meeting Monday night at Newton County High School.
