The Newton Police Department has made one arrest in connection with an alleged human trafficking investigation that has been ongoing over the past few weeks.
Newton Police Chief Randy Patrick said the investigation stems from an Aug. 8 call at approximately 10 p.m. for an alleged kidnapping.
