CITY POLITICS: Newton passes on increase to customers

POLITICS: Supervisors mull increase for poll workers

The Newton County Board of Supervisors convened at the board room at the Newton County Courthouse on January 17, where they were met with a request from the Newton County Election Commissioners to increase poll workers compensation in accordance with a Mississippi Senate Bill that was passed last year.
